Returning to the Drawing Board
One objective of beginning a blog was to work on more creative thoughts for my web and private art projects. It is true that I used to run free illustration blogs, but nowadays I have not done so for quite some time.I do have a blank page set aside, and I consider it is a sign I was waiting for to begin. I had written a piece that showed the simplest things that we love for breakfast. Below are some factors I considered throughout from the beginning till the end.
One thing that I found it being interesting is that when it came to getting inspired, it was never a hard thing on my part.To be honest I love a lot of things about breakfast, so I took the initiative to begin. All I needed to for that post was a paper cup and a box of raisins then, later on, I took the photo all by myself. I had to ensure that the post had a lot of colorful and different colors and I also used a couple of different drawing techniques. I have always loved interior design blogs my whole life.
one thing that I ensure that I did be to sketch the coffee cup. I decided to add more creativity to it by not just drawing a cup but choosing to draw a floating cup. I later on decided to add moons and stars so that it can look more of a celestial theme. After I finished sketching using a pencil, I later defined it utilizing a black pen. When I choose the technique, yes I did make a lot of mistakes, but I learned from it. I never went to any art school that would guide me and also teaches me on how to draw nice drawings. Instead I used to watch cartoons on Saturday mornings and play video games. If you thought I could draw a picture of you then you will be very disappointed because I cannot. I usually trace with a pencil then, later on, I leave it to dry. Instead of just staring at the photo until it drys up, that’s when I chose to do my next illustration.
The next thing that I did was draw a box of cereal sitting on a tree stump. My inspiration came from wooden furniture that I viewed in an interior design blog.I had already drawn the moon and the stars which later on inspired me to draw a beautiful garden. I love to color, and I enjoyed coloring the drawing. For the cup I used a box of crayons and colored pencils. I usually knew what exactly I wanted, and that is exactly what I drew.
